Avatar - Epic WIN!

Omfg! Guh! Ah! And just for emphasis, woah! Avatar in 3D was mindblowing! I felt like I could almost touch the bioluminescent plant life hovering in front of me! I have never seen such incredibly realistic CGI! Oh, the detail, the detail, down to the last airborne jellyfish! Pandora was ethereal with it's majestic landscapes & wildlife. The aliens called the Na'vi were visually stunning. The plot was simple but the storytelling was powerful. I was held captive the entire two and a half hours.

The only thing I regret is that when this comes out on DVD, I won't be able to watch it in 3D on my tv. Dammit! In the meantime, I wanna see it again! :) In fact, I recommend everyone should see it but it has to be in 3D to really experience the movie in full! Okay, I'll stop here---I've abused the exclamation mark enough for the rest of the year. Haha.

I got my shot this morning at work and either than a sore arm, I feel fine. I estimate about 70% of the staff on day shift today went to get the vaccine while 30% were still debating whether or not they should. The apparent worry are side effects. The information pamphlet stated as long as you weren't allergic to eggs or chickens, the likelihood of a person reacting badly to this vaccine was 1 in 200,000 and anyone dying from it was 1 in a million. I say those are good odds. We are seeing an increase of isolation patients coming in the department and taking the vaccine seems like the safest precaution.

Will you take the H1N1 vaccine?

p.s. thank you to my favourite geniuses for fixing my comp! love ya!
